Woman’s Hour – To The End (REID remix)

I only heard of Woman’s Hour when NME starting repping them pretty hard early on (~2011) but the band, somewhat surprisingly, hasn’t really gotten any momentum going, despite being immensely talented and holding a distinct, genuine sound. Interview Magazine did a great write-up, describing the group’s sound as a stripped-down, grayscale pop, and I think that fits quite well. While the original of this track is worth a listen, I think REID‘s touch substantially vibed it out—a move I always approve.

I got out for a decent drive through the mountains today, and a few REID originals and remixes shuffled into my ears, reminding me of my love for the guy. Always love seeing something by him surface!
